The Minister for the Ecological Transition, Sara Aagesen, announced last Friday that the Spanish Government will promote an investmentin electricity networks of EUR 13.590 billion between now and 2030, which is 65% higher than the current plan (2021-2026).
According to the proposal, access to the transport network for new consumers will increase by 14 times, to 27.7 gigawatts (GW), with special weight for industry (9 GW), green hydrogen (13.1 GW) and data centres (3.8 GW).
