Tubos Reunidos has offered workers early retirement and incentives for voluntary leave
On the occasion of the second meeting between management and trade unions to negotiate an employment regulation dossier affecting 301 workers, a day of strike has been called at the Amurrio plant, which has been joined by the entire workforce.

The management of Tubos Reunidos has today put on the table to the unionsaplan to take forward the Employment Regulation Dossier (ERE) that will result in the dismissal of people 301 from the plants of Amurrio and Trapagaran in Tubos Reunidos , including the possibility of pre-retirement from 60 years and incentives for casualties.
Since the announcement of the regulatory dossier, the management and the works council have met for the second time. At the Amurrio plant, 274 are planned, and at the Trapagaran plant, 27.
The main points of the company's proposal are:
- Pre-retirement: the possibility of pre-retirement from the age of 60; up to the age of 63, the worker would receive 60% of his gross salary, and from that age, compensation of 20 days per year for a maximum of 12 payments.
- Contingent staff: 25 days compensation, for each year worked, for a maximum of 12 payments.
- Voluntary leave: compensation of 30 days per year worked for a maximum of 18 payments.
