In a note released last week, the Member of Parliament for Mobility, Tourism and Spatial Planning of the Government of Gipuzkoa, Azahara Dominguez, reported that, once the technical tests and adaptation of the new machines have been completed, "users of Bizkaia and Álava will be able to use their transport cards in the interurban bus service of Gipuzkoa".
In this way, Lurraldebus will comply with the Basque Law on Sustainable Mobility , which states that "all means of transport must be interoperable before the end of the year".
