They'll change the location of the Araba Euskaraz party and do it in ikastola Armentia, Mendizorroza and Prado Park

Although with the change of location, next Sunday (June 15) the festival of Araba Euskaraz will be held in Vitoria-Gasteiz under the slogan "Continually." As in recent years the organizers intended to do in the fields of Olarizu, but due to the indefinite strike being carried out by the gardeners of Vitoria-Gasteiz, the ikastola Armentia, Mendizorroza and the Park will finally be held.

As explained by the organizers at a press conference held this morning at the headquarters of the Ikastolas Association of Álava, they have not obtained "guarantees" that the park of Olarizu will be in a position to celebrate the party this Sunday, which is why they have taken the decision.

As in the previous three years, the Araba Euskaraz festival has been organized among eight Alavese ikastolas, and this year the proceeds will be allocated to support the ikastola Bastida . With the dissemination of the educational project of the ikastola Bastida, they want to take advantage of this Sunday's meeting to claim and promote the use of the Euskera in Rioja Alavesa.

Full day program, divided into three areas.

  "varied" and "participatory" programme, in which Basque citizens and cultural axes will be protagonists, has organized for Sunday a wide range of activities aimed at citizens of all ages: shows, music, workshops or games.

The party will be divided into three areas: ikastola Armentia (Lautada area), parking in Mendizorroza (Monte area) and Prado Park (Erreka area).

The Araba Euskaraz organization has issued a number of recommendations, including the use of public transport to travel to Vitoria-Gasteiz, while those who drive are asked to go to the parking lot on Paseo del Peregrino Street, and finally call for the glasses to be removed from their homes.
