All set for Sunday's Araba Euskaraz party in Vitoria-Gasteiz
Despite the change of location,\u00A0 is all set in Vitoria-Gasteiz for the Sunday 'Araba Euskaraz' jai, under the slogan 'Continually'. As in recent years, the organizers intended to do so in the fields of Olarizu, but due to the indefinite strike being carried out by the gardeners of Vitoria-Gasteiz,
As explained by the organizers at a press conference held this morning at the headquarters of the Ikastolas Association of Álava, they have not obtained "guarantees" that Olarizu Park will be in a position to celebrate the party this Sunday, which is why they have taken the decision.
As in the previous three years, the Araba Euskaraz festival has been organized among the eight Alavese ikastolas, and this year the funds raised will be used to support the ikastola Bastida, which, together with publicizing its educational project, aims to vindicate and promote the use of the Basque language in the Rioja Alavesa and to take advantage of this Sunday's meeting to expand the areas of use.
Full day program, divided into three areas.
A "varied" and "participatory" programme has been organized for Sunday, in which Basque citizens and cultural axes will be protagonists. The organizers have indicated that they have prepared an extensive programme of activities aimed at citizens of all ages: shows, music, workshops and games.
The party will be divided into three areas: the ikastola Armentia (Lautada area), the parking lot of Mendizorrotza (Monte area) and the park of the Prado (Erreka area).
