The Basque Government offers assistance to the families of the people killed in Santander
The Basque Government's Security Adviser, Bingen Zupiria, on Tuesday offered the Basque Government's support to the families of the three young Basques who died in the collapse of the El Bocal crossing in Santander and hopes that the injured young Alavés will recover as soon as possible.
The Security Counsellor has explained that in this case it has been the responsibility of the Ertzaintza "to inform the families of the death of the three young men".
Five people have died in the accident: two 19-year-old girls from Barakaldo (Bizkaia), a 21-year-old from Balmaseda (Bizkaia), another 22-year-old from Camargo (Cantabria) and a 20-year-old from Almería (Bizkaia), as well as a 20-year-old girl from Guadalajara (Álava) who is missing and a 19-year-old girl from Elvillar (Álava).
