The 2025 Festivities of the White Virgin will be held in the Alavesa capital from 4 to 9 August.
Within 46 days of the startof the Festivities of the White Virgin of 2025 (from 4 to 9 August), the winning poster has been presented: "The Festivities of All for All". ,neighbor of Asteiz Ania Saénz de Buruaga Fernández de Gobeore.
In this edition of the contest , 57 artists presented their dossiers. The selection process was carried out in two phases: in the first, a jury composed of five Alavese design professionals selected five finalists , each receiving an amount of 500 eurosfor the development of a complete poster.
In the second stage they valued the posters made by the five selected, among which they finally chose the proposal of Sáenz de Buruaga, who will receive a prize of 2,000 euros.
In the presentation, the author acknowledges that at the beginning of the creative process he had "streets full of people" as the most representative image of the festivities. But knowing that he was a finalist, he advocated to reflect what the White Virgin's festivities really define: an open, shared celebration representing all citizens.
