EAEko kultur ekitaldien ia erdiak euskarazkoak edo elebidunak dira
2024an programatutako kultur ekitaldien % 32,8 euskara hutsean izan ziren, eta % 13,1 elebidunak, gaztelaniarekin edo beste hizkuntza batekin batera.
Euskara, hizkuntza baino gehiago, euskal kultura-nortasunaren elementu egituratzailea da. Hizkuntzaren osasunari buruzko eztabaidak erakundeak eta kalea zeharkatzen dituen une honetan, 2024ko EAEko kultur programazioaren datuek euskarak bizitza publikoan duen tokiari buruzko erradiografia argigarria egiten dute. Kulturklik Eusko Jaurlaritzak bultzatutako erreferentziazko plataformaren erregistroetatik abiatuta, ikusi da EAEn egiten diren ia 20.000 kultura-ekitaldien erdiak inguru euskarazkoak edo elebidunak izan zirela. Tarte horren horren baita, ordea, lurralde-kontraste handiak daude.
Gipuzkoa, euskararen gotorlekua
Gipuzkoa da euskararen gotorleku nagusia kultur arloan. Zazpi eskualdeetatik seitan ekitaldien % 50 baino gehiago hizkuntza horretan egin ziren —euskaraz edo euskaraz eta beste hizkuntza batean. Donostialdeak, adibidez, kultura-eskaintza handia du —bertan 4.300 ekitaldi baino gehiago egiten dira urtean—, eta euskararen presentzia handia da: % 34,7 euskaraz egin ziren, eta % 15,4, ele bitan. Urola Kostan, Debagoienan eta Tolosaldean, berriz, % 50eko muga nabarmen gainditu zuten, eta lurraldea euskarazko kulturaren erreferente bihurtu.
Bizkaia: aniztasuna eta konpromiso desberdina
Bizkaian 8.600 ekitaldi baino gehiago izan ziren 2024an, eta egoera heterogeneoagoa da lurralde horretan. Zazpi eskualdeetatik bostek programatu zituzten ekitaldien erdiak euskaraz edo formatu elebidunetan. Enkarterrin eta Bilbo Handian, aldiz, erdarazko ekitaldiak nagusi izan ziren, tarte handiarekin nagusi izan ere.
Araba, gainditu gabeko ikasgaia
Arabak du erronkarik handiena. Eskualde bakar batek ere ez zuen gainditu euskararen aldeko % 50eko langa hori. Aiaraldea soilik hurbildu zen zifra horretara (% 49,8) bai euskarazko programazioa bai ele bitan egindakoa kontuan hartuta. Arabako Lautadan, Gasteiz barne hartuta, ekitaldien % 34 egin ziren euskaraz edo ele bietan: iaz erregistratutako 2550 ekitaldietatik soilik 490 izan ziren euskara hutsean, eta 254, ele bietan.
Zenbakiez haratago
Kulturan euskararen aldeko apustua ez da uniformea, baina aurrerapena ukaezina da. Bi ekitalditik bat (gutxi gorabehera) euskaraz egiteak, dela hizkuntza bakar gisa, dela gaztelaniarekin batera, argi islatzen du hura sustatzeko egiturazko konpromisoa egon badagoela.
