The anti-Racism groups of Navarrehave concentrated this Saturday in the Town Hall Square of Pamplona "alarm, indignation and rejection" ES inthe faceofrecent events in Torre Pacheco (Murcia), denouncing the escalation of hatred and racist violence .

On behalf of the convening groups,\u00A0 SOS Racismo Flavia Navarrete has read a statement stating that the attacks and threats suffered in Torre Pacheco are not isolated incidents, but are the directresult of hate speeches spread throughout the year through lies, media criminalization and institutional immobility.
The groups reject the use of public security as an excuse to justify racist practices and warn of the danger of building a narrative that treats migrants and racists as threats, denouncing that this encourages control policies, police presence and restrictions on freedoms while concealing the real causes of inequality and structural violence.

SOS Racismo Navarra, Salhaketa Navarra, Paris 365, Medicos del Mundo Navarra, Oxfam Intermón, Gaz Kalo, the Ibero-American Circle of Navarre and other social and neighbourhood groups have been among the groups called for the rally.
