With September, winter hours will return to public transport and OTA service

As every year, with the arrival of September and the end of the summer holidays, the public transport services of the Basque Autonomous Community (CAV) and Navarre will resume theirwinter hours from next Monday. In fact, the measure coincides with the new school year and the end of the summer season , with more journeys expected.
In Bizkaia, for example, Metro Bilbaowill resume the usual frequencies of lines 1, 2 and 3, every 2.5 minutes on the main axis of trains and between 5 and 20 minutes depending on their origin or destination. All schedules are available in the "next trains" section of its website.
Bizkaibus, Bilbobusand the Bilbao tramwill also set winter times with the details available on their official websites and apps. The tram, for example, will offer a 12-minute frequency on working days for most of the day, and on Saturdays and Sundays, 15 minutes.
In Gipuzkoa, both Lurraldebusand Dbus(San Sebastian) will reactivate their winter services, online at any time and with schedules that can be consulted on the user's hotline.
In thecase of Álava, Alavabusand urban buses in Vitoria-Gasteiz, they will offer services adapted to the new season, with information available on their digital platform.
In Navarre, the villas of the Comarcal Urban Transport will also adapt to the winter demand, with the schedules that can be seen in the marquees and on their website, so that the service will adapt to the demand with the start of the school year in the region of Pamplona.
On the other hand, in Renfe Cercaníasno major changes are expected and it will have a service similar to summer time, but it is recommended to consult the travel planner to know the details of the line, the city and the day of the week.
OTA will also resume its normal operation.

In Bilbao, the OTA service will resume its usual schedule. In the residential area, the schedule will be from Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 13:30 and from 15:00 to 19:00. In the intensive area, the service will be from 09:00 to 20:00 from Monday to Friday and from 09:00 to 14:00 on Saturdays.
In San Sebastian, the main novelty is the return of the vignette of residents, which will be mandatory from October 1. In September, 17,000 authorized people will receive the new vignette and updated plan of areas by mail. In addition, it will extend the OTA to new areas such as the Igara area, Arrabol-Ategorrieta and the streets of La Antigua and Aiete.
In Vitoria-Gasteiz, in addition to recovering the OTA service from 1 September, it will be extended to six other neighbourhoods from 15 September, regulating 11,000 new places, as well as abolishing the payment of penalties to be paid shortly.
In Pamplona, the OTA service resumed its normal operation on 15 July after the San Fermín holidays. Regulated areas operate from Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 20:00 and on Saturdays from 08:30 to 14:00. On Sundays and holidays, parking is free, except in special areas such as the railway station or long-term parking.
