A man with an international arrest warrant has been arrested in Colombia for alleged sexual assault in Navarre in 2020.
Pursuant to an international arrest warrant issued against him by a court in Tafalla, he was arrested by Interpol agents on 7 March in the Colombian municipality of Tulua in collaboration with the Civil Guard and the Colombian police.
The detainee is accused of sexual assault in Navarre and in this regard issued an international arrest warrant against him in February last year.
The detainee has been placed at the disposal of the Colombian Attorney-General's Office pending extradition.
