The minor who assaulted a homosexual couple in Vitoria has again been arrested for stabbing three young men
As confirmed by EITB, the Alavesa Council was to request the expulsion of the 17-year-old, who was taken to court yesterday and ordered to be placed in a juvenile justice centre of the Basque Government.
A minor with a record has been arrested in Vitoria-Gasteizon charges of several serious assaults — one of them a homophobic assault ona couple three weeks ago — in connection with which, a few days ago, the General Deputy of Álava, Ramiro Gonzalez, stated that hehad requestedthe expulsion of this young man on the grounds that he had "a complete lack of adaptation".
The last arrest took place in the early morning of Friday after three young men wereattackedwith a knife in the company of another friend. The 17-year-old detainee was in an open regime centre under the protection of the Álava Council.
According to sources from the Provincial Council of Álava to Radio Euskadi, this young man testified yesterday in the juvenile court and the judge ordered hisadmission to a centre under the Basque Government.
A few days ago, the Member of Parliament for Social Policy Gorka Urtaran reported that since April last year the Council hastried nine times to expel as many boys, but so far not one has been expelled.
