A 54-year-old man died today, Sunday, ina traffic accident on the AP-8 motorway off Zarautz , according to the Department of Safety and Security.
The accident occurred around 09:00 in A0da, Zarautz, in the sense of Bilbao, where the motorist fell to the ground and collided with a fence.
Firefighters, health personnel and Ertzaintza patrols have moved to the scene.
He was initially evacuated by ambulance to Donostia Hospital, where he died from his injuries.
The Ertzaintza has opened an investigation to clarify the circumstances of the accident.
