Ten plans to enjoy the Basque Country in September
Festivities, races, film and dance festivals, concerts and vintage, September is a month full of proposals in the Basque Country.
September comes full of plans for all tastes and ages. From the tradition of Lekeitio to the red carpet of Donostia, from the vineyards of Rioja Alavesa to the stages of Iparralde, there will be countless opportunities to get to know Euskal Herria from one end to the other.
The cultural agenda will also consist of music and dance festivals, concerts and gastronomic proposals.
1. St. Antolines and Goose Day, Lekeitio
September 1-8 · Lekeitio (Bizkaia)
Lekeitio will celebrate the festivities of San Antolín with a week full of activities and festivities. Among all the appointments of the program stands out the Day of the Goose, one of the most popular traditions of the town, which every year gathers thousands of people around the port. 4. FesTVal, TV returns to Vitoria

Vitoria-Gasteiz will once again become a meeting point for the world of television by the hand of the new edition of FesTVal. Presentations, premieres, encounters and familiar faces of the small screen will complete the programme, and the festival will be one of the main audiovisual quotes of September in Álava.
5. Vintage Festival of the Rioja Alavesa

8. Sopela Kosta Fest: surfing, music and nature

The sea will again be the protagonist of Sopela Kosta Fest, a festival that will combine surfing competitions, nature-related activities and outdoor concerts, an attractive plan to fire summer and enjoy the sea in a more relaxed atmosphere.
9. Film festival, big movie date
September 18-26 · San Sebastian
For nine days, San Sebastian will host filmmakers, performers and professionals from the international film industry . Projections, red carpets and the atmosphere of the streets will make the city one of the main cultural centres of Europe.
10. The Cat Empire, musical night in Bilbao

The schedule ends with the arrival in Bilbao of The Cat Empire, a band that combines jazz, funk, ska and rhythms from different corners of the world, and the Australian band will perform on Santana 27 , the final straight of September.
