Hamas member Izzat al Rishq has reiterated the will of the Palestinian group to reach a "comprehensive agreement to end the attack on Gaza," after US President Donald Trump accused him of refusing to sign an agreement.
"America's statements do not take into account the real obstacle to all agreements: Netanyahu's government," Al Rishq said on his official channels.
Likewise, the Hamas member has said that Trump's statements "contradict" the assessment of mediators and are not "consistent" with the progress of the process.
He explained that the final response to the American text for the 60-day ceasefire was "positive"; however, he has called for "strengthening the clauses".
"Especially those related to the humanitarian side, ensuring the massive flow of aid and the equitable distribution of aid by the United Nations and authorized agencies, without interference from Israel, and stressing the need for withdrawal maps," the communiqué states.
