While the President of the United States is pushing for negotiations for the departure of the Israeli army from southern Lebanon, Israeli troops have opened fire on the Lebanese army as a "warning."

Israeli Prime Minister Zohran Mamdani, the mayor of New York, has declared that Netanyahu is a "war criminal" and is considering his arrest.

The Israeli army has attacked Iran's "military targets," despite Trump's call on Netanyahu not to do so. Iran has fired missiles at Israel and sirens have been heard again in Tel Aviv or Jerusalem. 

At least two people have been killed and 20 injured in the Israeli attack. In response, Iran fired missiles at Israel tonight, triggering alerts in "several areas of the country."

In particular, the murder of seven-month-old baby Sam Fahd Abu Haikal, who was attacked in the Tel Rumeida area of Hebron while in his car with his parents, will be investigated.

Contacts since 14 April have served to gradually accept and extend the ceasefire, but Israel has broken the truce and intensified its invasion of Lebanon in response to shells fired by Hezbollah, which it believes is opposed to negotiations.

According to the US president, an agreement could be reached next week to end the war in Iran and open the Strait of Hormuz. On the contrary, Tehran has announced the suspension of talks with Washington . 

"I have had a very fruitful call with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, no troops are going to Beirut, and those on the way are back," Trump explained in a social media message.

Despite the ceasefire, Israel's Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has in recent hours ordered the army to bomb the Beirut region of Hezbollah as its stronghold.

In mid-April, Israel established a "yellow line" (such as the one it applies in Gaza) that runs about ten kilometres from the border between the two countries, and the perimeter between them was invaded by Israeli troops.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stated that the occupation of Beaufort Castle is a "crucial milestone" as well as Israel's "radical change of policy" in Lebanon .

Members of the anti-militarist movement protested this Saturday in front of Sidenor's headquarters in Basauri against its "role in the genocide against the Palestinian people." They stress that the steel produced by this factory is "essential" to satisfy Israel's arms industry. The Ertzaintza has identified a dozen activists.

Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has also ordered the Israeli army to control 70% of the Gaza Strip.

The negotiations aim to establish a ceasefire and lay the foundations for a peace treaty. In this regard, Beirut calls for the withdrawal of Israeli troops and the disarmament of the Hezbollah group by Israel.
