Netanyahu wants to seize Gaza in its entirety and move nearly a million Palestinians in five months
The Israeli Prime Minister will meet his Security Cabinet this afternoon to discuss his intention to fully occupy Gaza, and the newspaperJerusalem has already broken down one of the proposals that will be discussed at the meeting.
The Prime Minister of Benjamin Netanyahu Israel will meet this afternoon with thesecurity cabinet\u00A0 to decide on the occupation of the entire Gaza Strip.
The cabinet, which includes some of the Executive's ministers, will meet this afternoon at 5 p.m. the key ministries, including Defense Minister Israel Katz, or Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer, charged with negotiating a possible ceasefire with Hamas.
The Prime Minister's intention is clear: to take over the entire Gaza Strip, and he will put on the table a plan to implement it at today's meeting, according to Jerusalem " magazine. Netanyahu has set himself a five-month deadline to take over Gaza, and to do so he will mobilize a large war apparatus,five divisionsof the army, each of which will consist of 10,000 military personnel. This would move about a million Palestinians, according to estimates.
This proposal, which will be discussed at today's meeting, looks like it will go ahead and the cabinet will give the green light to the plan, which would allow attacks to take place throughout the vast long Gaza Strip, as well as attacks in areas where there are hostages that have caused controversy, although many are opposed to this plan, including Chief of Staff Eyal Zemir, Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar and members of the opposition.
Meanwhile, this Thursday 13 people have been killed in the morning attacks. The data they disseminate from NGOs also show that attacks continue.
The latest reported by Humans Rights Watch is the massacre of schools in Gaza. Israel's air strikes have hit more than 500 school buildings, many of them shelters for displaced persons.
