Yafa's Abu Kabir Forensic Medical Center has identified Eliyahu Margalit as the body of the hostage who was handed over by Hamas late yesterday, as announced by Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's office.
"Army representatives have informed the family of the hostage Eliyahu Margalit that his beloved relative has been returned to Israel and fully identified," the statement states.
