Filmmaker Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele Singer, were killed yesterday, Sunday, at their home in Los Angeles, USA. The main suspect in the double murder is Nick, one of the marriage's three children, who, according to People magazine, has been arrested by police authorities.
According to records from the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department, 32-year-old Nick Reiner was placed in custody and is being held on $4 million bail.
The U.S. publication had previously reported that Nick was being questioned in the Theft and Murder Division of the Los Angeles Police Department after his parents appeared dead, and that the bodies of Rob Reiner and Michele Sing were found by the marriage's daughter, Romy.
The couple had been married since 1989, and together they had three children, including Nick, who has spoken openly since adolescence about the fight against addiction.
