They asked him about it at a press conference, and he said, "Yeah, probably. Why shouldn't I? Italy hasn't helped us at all and Spain has been very, very sorry (...) When we needed them, they weren't. We have to remember that."
Trump has attacked European countries again, remembering that Washington helped them in the face of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, when "Ukraine has nothing to do with them," "We're on the other side of the ocean."
The tycoon has also addressed Germany and said that he is doing a 'disastrous job' because, among other things, he has' immigration problems' and 'energy problems'.
Trump has previously said that he is thinking of reducing the number of troops in Germany, after German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said on Thursday that the US has no strategy in the context of the offensive against Iran. The tycoon accused Merz of being "absolutely useless" in his attempts to end the invasion of Russia.
This is not the first time he has threatened to reduce German troops, as he did in his first term, that is, between 2017 and 2021.
