More than summer, autumn will mark the beginning of the week, as summer does not always guarantee the sun in the Basque Country.
According to Euskalmet , this Monday, July 28, there will be abundant cloud cover and weak rains, especially in the north, both on the cantabrian side and in much of the northern part of the French Basque Country and Navarre.
The rain will be more frequent and abundant on the Cantabrian coast and inland, while in the south of Navarre and the Ebro Bank the sky will be wider and no precipitation is expected.
As for the wind, the north and northwest will blow strong, and in the afternoon there will be some strong streaks inside.
Temperatures will remain cool and the highs and lows will be mild. Specifically, in the capitals, values are expected to be around 20 ° C: in Bilbao, a minimum of 17 ° C and a maximum of 22 ° C; in San Sebastian, 16 and 20; Vitoria-Vitoria, 12 and 20; in Baiona, 17 and 21; and in Pamplona, 16 and 20.
On the coast, the northern wind will cause a tidal wave , with waves between 0.5 and 1 meter, and the water temperature will be 23 ° C.
Meanwhile, Tuesday will not bring much change: the cloudy atmosphere will continue in the north, with occasional faint rains, and the skies will be clearer in the south, especially from noon onwards.
Temperatures may rise slightly in the interior, but will remain the same along the coast. In addition, the northern wind will continue to play a leading role, with closure in the Ebro Valley.
