After the rains, the weather will be more stable today, but faint showers are expected in the afternoon
The heavy rainfall of the last few hours has left many incidents and floods in Bizkaia, but the situation is beginning to stabilize. The light will be wide at noon, although some weak showers may occur in the afternoon and night.
We have woken up with clouds and remnants of precipitation, after a very rainy night in much of the territory, but during the morning the weather will tend to stabilize and the clouds and light will alternate.
The rains yesterday caused flooding in the Old Town and Gran Vía of Bilbao, while in Leioa the tunnels of La Avanzada had to be cut by water congestion, and rainfall also caused traffic problems at various points in Bizkaia.
The Basque Country Emergency Response Centre (SOS Deiak ) has recorded until 8.30 p.m. about 150 rain-related incidents, most of which have occurred in Bizkaia, where the storm has left numerous floods and water rafts.
For today, there will be wide clear at noon and early afternoon, after which punctual showers are not ruled out, especially in the interior, but will be generally weak.
The wind will blow from the east, predominating the northeast in the afternoon, with maximum temperatures between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius.
Changing weather on Monday
On Monday the weather will be variable, with cloudy intervals and some showers, especially in the early morning and at night.
The wind will be from the south-east and daytime temperatures will rise, the highs will be 3 or 4 ° C higher than on Sunday. In the afternoon, the wind will blow from the north-east along the coast.
More clouds and showers on Tuesday
On Tuesday we will continue with variable weather, with intervals of clouds and light throughout the day, wider light in the morning and midday, and more cloud cover in the afternoon and night.
Then there may be more showers, and in the morning the wind will blow from the south, and in the evening and night it will turn north.
