Four short series in Basque on the way to the screen driven by EITB
The results of the Small Formats, New Talents call will begin to flourish in the fall on the platform of Primeran EITB. In the wake of this EITB initiative to promote fiction series in Euskera, the short series "Amari goxo goxo", "Aloka (h) iru" and "Izaki a little transparent" are being filmed.
"Amaren goxo goxo" has been created by screenwriter Leire Albinarrate, 2deo series by the Tabakalera program, directed by Lander Otaola and Ane Nafarrate and starring Aitziber Garmendia, Iñake Irastorza, Jon Plazaola, Sambou Diaby, Itziar Lazkano, Koldo Olabarri and Urko.
The protagonist is the Wind (Aitziber Garmendia), who is 35 years old and is surrounded only by her mother, who will eventually abandon her and the Wind will have to learn to live on its own, but she will begin to see her everywhere.
The directors of "Aloka (h) iru" are Alba Lozano and Nitya López, and the acorns are Nerea Sanz, Izaro Nieto, Lorea Intxausti, Arnatz Puertas, Dorleta Urretabizkaia, Kepa Errasti, Leire López, Asier Hernández and Alvar Gordejuela.
Three people live in a house in the Old Town of Bilbao. They have one month to leave the house, and they'll start three secret businesses before they leave.
Iñigo Sbeltza is the screenwriter, director and producer of the series "Some Transparent Beings", which consists of six closed stories, all about ghosts, starring Jon Plazaola, Patricia Urrutia, Martxelo Rubio, Olatz Beobide, Erika Olaizola, Ainhoa Aierbe, Iñigo Aranburu, Mikel Losada.
Finally, Arriguri Kolektiboa will begin shooting in the next few weeks the six-part series "Estu", starring Aia Kruse and Jon Ander Urresti, as well as Nerea Mazo, Kepa Errasi, Sambou Diaby and Aritz Kortabarria.
All these series will be released on the Primeran platform from autumn onwards.
