The PSOE and the Broad Front are meeting today to discuss whether they form a joint list to the Senate

Coalitions have until Friday to put forward their candidacies. The Socialists have previously agreed on joint lists in some constituencies, but this would be the first time they have reached an agreement on all of them.

The PSOE and the Broad Front willmeet todayto discuss the possibility of running together in the Senate for the November 29 general election.

Sources from the Broad Front have confirmed to EFE that representatives of both forces will attend the assembly. The PSOE says they have all the options on the table and that the aim is to avoid the "malicious use" of  that the PP has made of the Upper House over the past three years.

The PSOE has previously submitted joint lists to the Senate in several constituencies, but this would be the first time they have been presented in all constituencies .

The next day, the PSOE will convene its Federal Committee in Madrid to ratify the lists for the 29N and its presidential candidate, Pedro Sánchez. On the same day, the Broad Front has its first act, but for the time being, it has no candidate.
