EH Bildu's congressional spokeswoman, Mertxe Aizpurua, stated on her arrival at the Congress plenary this Thursday that President Pedro Sánchez must implement "strong" anti-corruption measures and act "boldly" if he wants to "continue to have the support of EH Bildu."

Navarre President Maria Chivite will not resign and has stressed that there is nothing to link her, her government and the PSN party to corruption cases.

  Eneko Andueza, Secretary General of the PSE-EE, is convinced that it will not affect the Socialist Party of the Basque Country.  He has also advised those who are criticising the Socialists to be cautious because, according to him, although the focus is now on the Socialists, the issue may be extended to other parties.   

According to the PP spokesman, "the option for the future in the Basque Country, arithmetic, is for the PSE to go with Bildu, regardless of the possibility of the PNV." 

"Fortunately in the Basque Country we have a different political climate. We are not in the mud of the Madrileños," the lehendakari said when asked about the possible consequences of the Cerdán case in the Basque Country.

For the President, the Spanish legislature "has entered another phase" following the alleged corruption cases that have occurred in recent days. "The situation is very serious and an ethical line is at stake that cannot be crushed," added Pradales. 

Asked what has not been done well in his first year as President, Imanol Pradales has said that he would like "some agreements to be extended, especially in budgetary matters." Moreover, the President has criticized the fact that there have been times when members of the government have publicly expressed their disagreements. "We could have avoided them by doing cooking work beforehand," he added.

The Deputy Secretary-General of the PSN-PSOE, Ramon Alzórriz, has resigned after informing President Maria Chivite that his partner has been a worker of the Servinavian company.

The Socialist leader has appeared as a matter of urgency to announce his decision.

Minister Ana Redondo has stated that "it will be a law that transforms Spanish society" and that it will contribute "to the eradication of prostitution and machismo".

The two Basque parties met this Wednesday in La Moncloa with the President of the Spanish Government on the occasion of the crisis opened by the Cerdán case. Both have asked Sanchez for democratic regeneration and responsibility, but with different nuances in tone and demands.
