The Navarra Public Prosecutor's Office has charged Vox member Oscar Tellez , who is responsible for the youth of the ultra-right-wing party in the Foral Community, with an alleged crime of hate against migrants for his content on social media.
The Government of Navarre requested the Public Prosecutor's Office to extend the case by issuing a report by the Anti-Racism and Xenophobia Service , which collected a technical analysis of the contents published by the member of Vox on the TikTok and Instagram platforms, and concluded that Tellez is promoting hatred of migrants on social networks, especially by spreading messages against migrant minors arriving alone and men of Maghreb origin.
According to the Public Prosecutor's Office, Tellez has published unconfirmed information and lies using dehumanizing language, giving way to a climate of violence .
Following the news, the Third Vice-President of the Government of Navarre and Counsellor for Housing, Youth and Migration Policies, Begoña Alfaro , has described the charge as "very positive". Now, she added, she hopes that justice will do its job and that the spread of hatred in the Foral Community will have consequences.
"Chivite's corrupt government has used a paid chiringuito to denounce Vox," they wrote on the X social network.
For the time being, the far-right party claims that Téllez has not received any notification of the charge.
