The National High Court has charged several persons, including the former Secretary of the Organization of the PSOE, with making illegal payments to the PSOE and the Spanish Government in exchange for neutralizing judicial proceedings concerning the PSOE and the Spanish Government.

Santos Cerdán, former Secretary of Organization of the A0PSOE PSOE, has stressed that there was no blackmail or similar in the recent indictment of the National High Court in the Leire Díez case.
Cerdán spoke when he went to the Tafalla court to sign for the Koldo case, and to questions from journalists, in connection with the Koldo case, the Supreme Court released him with precautionary measures last November, but\u00A0 must appear in court every fortnight.
Asked if he had used PSOE money for blackmail or bribery, Cerdan replied to reporters that there had been no blackmail or anything like that, then he got into the car waiting for him in the lobby and left.
Last week, UCO agents of the Civil Guard conducted a search of Santos Cerdán's home in Milagro (Navarra) in the Leire Díez case, which is being investigated by the judge of the Santiago Pedraz National High Court.
Agents of the Civil Guard left the home of Cerdán with various documents and on the same day the UCO entered the headquarters of the PSOE on Ferraz Street in Madrid and a building linked to the former vice-president of the Junta de Andalucía Gaspar Zarrías.
