The president of the PNV Aitor Esteban has assured that he will continue to do everything in his power to "give voice" to the citizens of Treviño  and that his "desire" to enter Álava will be fulfilled.

The lehendakari, Imanol Pradales, has denied that the Basque Country is experiencing a "climate of permanent tension", after the president of the Basque PP, Javier de Andrés, has assured us . The lehendakari has recommended to Javier de Andrés that there be "introspection, moderation and restraint".

On 27 March, the Spanish Government and the Basque Government agreed in a bilateral committee to tighten up and strengthen the sanctions regime on the carrying of white weapons. According to EH Bildu's spokesman in the Basque Parliament, Pello Otxandiano, "this country needs a consensual framework between PNV and EH Bildu." 

The president of the BBB, Iñigo Ansola, has stressed that the jeltzale representative, Peio Etxeleku, has opted for change in the Basque College of Urban Centres with the aim of strengthening the relationship with the South, and has reiterated that the support of jeltzales must be understood in the logic of Iparralde.

The abertzale coalition, for its part, will begin its programme of activities with a demonstration from the Golem cinemas in Pamplona from 12 noon.

The president of the EBB calls for "living" the Basque Country on a day-to-day basis to guarantee its future. He also believes that there is no common basis for celebrating the unitary Aberri Eguna because each party has "different" country models, but does not rule out that such unity can be given "perhaps" in the future.

Jeltzales have demanded that the Basque Country be "one territory or several names", in a context in which the international order is shaken, "to claim that we are a living homeland and that we live every day".

The municipal groups have reaffirmed their commitment to "coexistence, respect and democratic participation" and have advocated "the open and pluralistic nature of Lemoa, enhancing the community values that unite us as a people".

The president of the EBB has defended the agreement on airports and the ability of the Basque Country to influence its management and has questioned the PSE-EE's criticism of undermining the airport agreement.

EBB President Aitor Esteban has participated in the central event of EGI Eguna in Mungia, where he has called on young jeltzales to take their place in society and in the party.

The PNV considers this to be "great news" while the PSE-EE calls for the cordon to be placed in its dimension and for there to be no excessive expectations. The opposition criticizes the lehendakari's search for a photo in Madrid in which the agreement is nothing but smoke.
