Zarautz City Council has called for a rally at 7:00 p.m. in Lege Zaharren Plaza, following the arrest of a 47-year-old man accused of killing a 53-year-old woman. Organizations and groups have expressed their revulsion and support for the victim's environment.

The General Meetings of Gipuzkoa have commemorated in a plenary in Alzo the thousand years of the first written mention of the territory, presided over by its president, Imanol Pradales, who in his speech highlighted the legacy we have received from our ancestors.

Withregard to the debate that has arisen between the PNV and the PSE-EE on the issue of the port of Pasaia, the General Member of Parliament of Gipuzkoa, Eider Mendoza, has stated that this competence is laid down in the Gernika Statute and that, with the full management of the Basque Government, it will make the necessary investments. 

The General Representative of Gipuzkoa, Eider Mendoza, has expressed his opinion on the Bidegi case in an interviewwith Euskadi Irratia . He has asked EH Bildu to abandon "this way of making politics", which causes suffering.

In February last year, the Azpeitia Court shelved the first complaint in the Bidegi case and EH Bildu filed an appeal against this decision. This is the third time that the Justice has ruled that there were no irregularities in the construction of the AP-1 motorway at the time when the PNV ruled in the Council. 

ORONA has announced the purchase of 60,000 square metres of land to create 150 jobs in the elevator sector.

The General Representative of Gipuzkoa has considered the situation in Palestine and the CAF contract in Israel to be a matter of "great legal and ethical complexity" and has therefore called for no "frivolity".

Examining magistrate No. 3 of Vitoria-Gasteiz, who is conducting the case , has decided to summon three minors identified in the Ertzaintza report to be declared "victim-witnesses".

The General Representative of Gipuzkoa, Eider Mendoza, referred to the "concern" raised about the summer colonies in Bernedo and stressed the need to "clarify as soon as possible both what happened in the colonies and what happened in the courts", as well as to offer full support to the families of the children. 

Emakunde's director, Mira Elgarresta, recalled at a hearing at the Lauaizeta School in San Sebastián that the aim of the programme is to prevent male violence among young people, "helping to empower girls and help boys reflect on the need for equality, with participation for a more egalitarian society".

The objective of the award is "to bring to the present day the extensive and innovative work carried out by Lourdes Iriondo in the revitalization of the Basque Euskera and Basque culture, and to do justice to ensure that his legacy occupies the place he deserves in the history of the territory".

Extinction work is currently under way in the municipality of Fasgar (Leon), where thousands of hectares of fire have been burned, with a capacity of 1,000 litres.

A total of 58 firefighters from the Basque Autonomous Community (CAV) have travelled to Castilla y León to assist in the control of forest fires following the Board's request for assistance to the Basque Government, while 24 professionals from Navarra have travelled to Asturias.

Around a thousand people in León have protested against the management carried out so far and have called for resignations, as well as the declaration of level 3 emergency, so that the management would be transferred from the Junta de Castilla y León to the Spanish Government.

In particular, the measure was taken after the Junta de Castilla y León requested assistance from the Basque Government Eusko Jaurlaritza, thus joining the helicopter recently sent to help put out the fires.

The Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa, in collaboration with the Town Hall of Donostia-San Sebastián, has arranged a temporary accommodation in this town.

The works council has lamented that the "minimum conditions" for workers' right to strike are not met.
