Interviewed in the Euskadi Weekend Chronicle programme of Radio Euskadi, Igor Arroyo has called on the Basque Government and the Foral Government of Navarre to exercise their powers to improve wages and access to housing.

Interviewed on the "Boulevard" programme of Radio Euskadi, the General Secretary of CCOO, Unai Sordo, has stated that the general strike for housing on 11 November will also have demands in terms of wages: wage increases and increases in the Interprofessional Minimum Wage.

Hundreds of workers in the entertainment and events sector in the Basque Country have followed up on Wednesday during the Aste Nagusia in Bilbao and warned that they will take new action if the employers do not heed their demands. They have concentrated in the square of the Arriaga Theatre, convened by Technicians, ESK, LAB, UGT, CCOO, ELA and CNT.

The pickets of the striking technicians have approached the Pergola in Bilbao to claim their right to strike, which has angered the public, who were not allowed to listen to the songs. There have been moments of tension between the strikers and several people who were spectators.
