A group has launched barriers and objects to sabotage the broadcast of the Spanish-Argentine match in the vicinity of the giant screen installed by the PP in Bilbao. In Vitoria-Gasteiz, one and two detainees have been identified.

The rallies, which will take place at 7 p.m. in Bilbao, Donostia-San Sebastián, Vitoria-Gasteiz and Pamplona/Iruña, have also called for Ikurriñas to be placed on balconies on Sunday and for Basque selection T-shirts to be worn.

The protests have erupted after Zelensky dismissed the reformist defense minister. Tensions within the government and disagreements over army reforms have triggered the crisis.

As every year, animalist associations have held their traditional anti-bullfighting performance in the Town Hall Square in Pamplona, giving the action a Catholic character, placing a bloody Jesus Christ in the middle of the square and around it several half-naked people, with their bodies stained with red paint and horns on their heads.

The protest took place in October last year at the headquarters of the Provincial Council of Bizkaia in Bilbao, where activists displayed a banner and one of them was chained inside the building .  They have been fined for public disorder under article 36.3 of the Gag Act.

EH Bildu's Secretary General, Arnaldo Otegi, took stock of the political year in Donostia on Monday. 

Due to the complex summer period, this will be the last week of stoppages for the time being, if the situation is not resolved, but doctors do not rule out an indefinite strike from September onwards.

The neighbours of the Bidasoa have again warned on Saturday in Irun of the urgent need for improvements in public health, as they have denounced the risk of collapse in the Bidasoa Hospital and in the primary care centres in the region. The summoners have recalled that a year ago 12,000 people were concentrated in protest at paediatric emergencies and the closure of the child and youth psychiatry service and have pointed out that the situation has not improved.

Sare has held a massive event in Arrasate today to take stock of his career since his founding and claim the need to "start ending a stage." "The end of the network, if things are done well, will be a collective and discreet victory," they said.

In front of the Bilbao City Council, several activists have protested that the US has imposed an economic, energy and financial blockade to undermine Cuba's sovereignty. Convened by the Yala Nafarroa platform, hundreds of people have gathered again to call for the "cessation of relations" with Israel, which organizers believe is the only measure to stop the genocide in the Gaza Strip.

Everyone's Life has called for mobilization from the Center dynamic because, as they have explained, there are still sufficient reasons to denounce the "shortcomings" of the surveillance system , the same ones that led to the general feminist strike of November 30, 2023. 

Accompanied by the slogan "From the people of Gernika: no genocide, no war", the banner has been joined by well-known social and cultural faces, who have denounced that Israel and the United States are spreading the oppression of Gaza throughout the region.

Public healthorganizations  68 have held demonstrations in Bilbao and Vitoria-Gasteiz with the support of EH Bildu, Podemos and Sumar and various trade unions, in which they have also called forthe resignation of Health Counsellor Alberto Martínez .

more than 60 groups have joined the call. The demonstrations will depart at 12:00 in Bilbao (from Sacred Heart Square) and Vitoria (from Bilbao Square), and at 17:00 in Donostia (from Boulevard).

The group criticizes the City Council's response, they say, with temporary solutions because the problem is not addressed at the root. They call for "structural measures" for the homeless. 

On the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, hundreds of people have joined the demonstration called this Saturday by the 21M Bilbao Anti-Racism Assembly, denouncing the "rise of fascism" and warning of the "impunity" of the activities and speeches of "neo-Nazi and supremacist groups".  The march began shortly after 12:00 in the Plaza de la Corazón de Maria and crossed San Francisco Street to Zabala.
