PSE-EE Secretary General Eneko Andueza has called for self-government to be used as a "useful tool" and not to deceive Basque citizens with "invented sovereignties." On the anniversary of the Gernika Statute, the socialist has called for "innovation" to respond to people's real needs.

After pointing out that Eneko Andueza's relationship with the PNV leadership is not as good as before, the lehendakari has been asked about the relationship between members of the government. Pradales has said that the government works well. "That is what this society expects" and has said that its "responsibility" is to maintain stability.

The president of the Araba Buru Batzar of the PNV, Jone Berriozabal, has stressed that despite Eneko Andueza's statements, the relationship between the PNV and the PSE-EE is good.

Andueza has pointed out that in a coalition government it is very important to "take good care of relations and there is a good dialogue", as was the case between Ortuzar and him, and has stated that there was "personal harmony and a dialogue of trust" between them.

For the Socialist Councillor  it is "painful" for the PNV to "try to damage" the image of Andueza and "it is not acceptable" for representatives of the Governing Council to do so. 

In an interview with Euskadi Irratia, the Security Adviser of the Basque Government referred to the statements made in recent days by Eneko Andueza. The PSE-EE Secretary General warned that the coalition government Andueza has warned the PNV that the coalition government "may be in danger if it continues to seek identity agreements with EH Bildu."

The socialist leader has also told the lehendakari that the reform of the Gernika Statute concerns political parties.
