The Gurekin Services Association has launched this year's txupinazo, in the words of the City Council, "to thank the small shops and services for their contribution throughout the year." The Lesaka sanfermines will last until July 12. 

In memory of Palestine, representatives of Yala Navarra fired the rocket with the kufiyas around their necks. At 12:01, the rocket exploded in the air of Pamplona with the cry of Palestine's freedom, and with it the party exploded.

The mayor of Pamplona/Iruña, Joseba Asiron, spoke on the eve of the txupinazo that will start the sanfermines about this year's "popular, accessible and inclusive parties" that they have prepared.

The first bulls of the sanfermines have already arrived in Pamplona. They belong to the Fuente Ymbro and Victorian del Río cattle ranches, protagonists of the enclosures of 7 and 10 July. For the time being, they are resting in the Gas stables. 

In addition to the numerous attacks on Tuesday morning, on Wednesday there was another attack which, according to the Txozna Commission, has not been confined solely to Hernani, which they consider to be the result of the "rise of the far right" and which "have not been isolated incidents".

The City Council, together with the dancers of Goizaldi, Arkaitz, Eskola and Gero Axular, and the Municipal Band of Txistularis, have danced the traditional Eskudantza.
