EH Bildu MP Oscar Matute has insisted that the anti-corruption measures announced by Sanchez are "insufficient" for the coalition, but has added that they will not "try to sink" the current government.

"We will be very demanding of the PSOE and the government to end systemic corruption and finally lift the mortgages imposed by the 78 regime," EH Bildu's spokeswoman atthe Congress of Deputies, Mertxe Aizpurua, warned the head of the Spanish Government.

The meeting comes with the demands of the members of the PSOE Parliament to promote the initiatives on the table, as they believe that the response so far has been insufficient.

The President of the Spanish Government has announced a State plan to combat corruption, in collaboration with the OECD Economic Cooperation eta Development Organization, following the situation caused by the 'Koldo case' and the placement of Santos Cerdán in pre-trial detention.

In his speech at the closing of the 21st National Congress of the People's Party, he has focused his speech on the words against Sanchez, accusing him of "abandoning centrality" and of Sanchez wanting to "subdue" the party, the country and the minorities, and of "forgetting" that Spain is a pluralistic nation.
