The launch of the txupin started the San Fermín festivities in Lesaka this Monday at 12:00. The festive program includes more than 50 cultural, sporting and recreational activities that will take place over the next 6 days. The usual sounds of gaiters, bands and charangas will cheer the streets of the town until Saturday, July 11.

The mayor of Pamplona, Joseba Asiron, and the president of Navarra, María Chivite, have called on the citizens to approach the sanfermines of 2026 to enjoy the holidays and the city, but "always with respect."

The thousands of people who filled Pamplona Town Hall Square this afternoon were able to dance to the tune of the Band of Txistularis and Gaiteros.
