The two demonstrators have cut off traffic on the bridge for more than an hour, both for vehicles and for pedestrians. The two activists have already been brought down from the bridge and normalcy has been restored on the bridge near the Kursaal.

The ORAIN film critic has analyzed three other films from the Official Section: "Los Tigres" (Alberto Rodriguez), "Deux pianos" (Arnaud Desplechin) and "Le Cri des Gardes" (Claire Denis).

The film, directed by Alberto Rodriguez and starring Antonio de la Torre and Barbara Lennie, has been shot at sea, bringing the work of divers to the big screen.

The jury will have to choose from the 17 films that will compete in the Official Section of the Festival. "In these uncertain times of noise and rupture," Bayona has argued at the opening ceremony that cinema is "more necessary than ever."

The producer, born in Segovia, has received the award from the brothers Agustin and Pedro Almodóvar, with whom he has worked for much of his professional career. During his speech, he condemned the violence in Ukraine and Gaza and made a passionate defence of rights, especially women's rights.

Esther Garcia has received in the Kursaal the first Donostia Prize awarded to a producer at the inaugural gala presented by actresses Silvia Abril, Toni Acosta and Itziar Ituño.

The award, awarded by journalists specializing in cinema, has selected this Brazilian production in 2025. Walter Salles has been awarded at the Kursaal Palace.

Many people have gathered in front of the Kursaal, on the red carpet of the opening ceremony of the Festival, to show solidarity with Palestine and to denounce the genocide that Israel is committing. The film world, as well as the director of the Film Festival, José Luis Rebordinos, has supported the protest.

Now the film critic is at the Festival to comment on the works of the Official Section. He has already seen the first three: "27 nights" (Daniel Hendler), opening gala; "Six jours ce printemps-là" (Joachim Lafosse) and "In-I In Motion" (Juliette Binoche).

The Spanish producer will receive the Donostia Prize tonight at the opening ceremony of the 73rd edition of the Festival. She will be the first producer to receive this distinction and will be awarded in the productions Matador (1986), La ley del deseo (1987), Mujeres al borde de un ataque de nervios (1988), Acción mutante (1993), La vida secreta de las palabras (2005),\A0\a0

The 2022 Donostia Award actor is back at the Festival to present his first film, "IN-I In Motion . "
