The National High Court is investigating the president of Sidenor, José Antonio Jainaga Gómez, and two other directors for selling steel to the arms manufacturer Israel Military Industries (IMSI).
Judge Francisco de Jorge of the National High Court investigates the president of Sidenor, José Antonio Jainaga Gómez, and two other directors for the sale of steel to the arms manufacturer Israel Military Industries (IMSI).
The National High Court has reported that the judge considers that the persons under investigation acted in the knowledge that the material was to be used for the manufacture of weapons.
The Magistrate has lifted the secrecy of the proceedings and stated that the sale of steel was carried out without the authorization of the Government and without registration in the relevant register, as recorded in an office of the General Information Police Station on 10 September.
The three persons investigated in this proceedings, initiated following a complaint by the Comunitat Palestina de Catalunya-Terra Santa de Catalunya, have been summoned to testify before the judge on 12 November.
