Mondragon's former president, Iñigo Ucín, will be appointed Ayesa Digital's non-executive president next Tuesday, when the company's purchase becomes official, sources familiar with the decision have confirmed.

The purchase will take place this Tuesday and Ucin will be the non-executive president of the new Ayesa. Iñigo Ucín was president of the Mondragon Corporation until August 1, 2024, when he was replaced by Pello Rodriguez, and retired after eight years as president of the Corporation's General Council.
The Basque Government, BBK, Kutxabank (through Indar) and Teknei purchased Ayesa Digitalon the last day of 2025. Ayesa Digital was part of the late Ibermatica and provides digital services and high-tech resources. They bought the company for 480 million euros.
Tuesday will be officially purchased from Ayesa IT & M Capital Europe and the Manzanares family. The Vital Foundation will be involved intheoperation, but eventually Box decided not to be part of the purchase.
