Nerea Erbi, Arturo Reverter and Benito Lertxundi will receive the Orfeon Donostiarra Award
The Orfeon Donostiarra and the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) have announced that in the XXV edition of the Orfeon Donostiarra Award Nerea Erbiti, Arturo Reverter and Benito Lertxundi will celebrate their tours.
At the Miramar Palace in San Sebastian, within the UPV Summer Courses.
Researcher Nerea Erbiti Larralde has been awarded in this edition in the category "Promoting and Promoting Musical Research" for her work "Neutral Tuning in Basque Monodic Songs: Analysis of Recordings of Basque Prisoners in Germany during World War I (1916-1917)." The jury has also highlighted the career of musical critic Arturo Reverter and singer Benito Lertxundi in recognition of their "continued contribution to the development and dissemination of music."
At the end of the 10th of July, the Orfeon Donostiarra will offer several samples of the traditional repertoire;
