Denis Itxasok, Etxebizitza eta Hiri Agendako sailburuak iragarri duenez, babes ofizialeko kalifikazioa (BOE) galdu zuten 1.000 etxebizitza berreskuratzeko prozesu bat hasiko da irailean. 2003tik indarrean dagoen araudiak babes mugagabea ezartzen du, eta horrek 9.445 etxebizitzari eragiten die gaur egun Euskadin: 4.619 Bizkaian, 3.478 Gipuzkoan eta 1.348 Araban.
Sailak eraikinaren guztizko balioa kalkulatuko du indarrean dagoen babes ofizialeko etxebizitzen gehieneko prezioa aplikatuz, eta balio tasatu horri % 10eko koefizientea aplikatuko zaio, lurzoruaren prezioaren arabera.
