The average retirement pension in the Basque Country in December was€1,841.80 , €329.07 more than the national average, and the pension in the Spanish State was €1,512.73.
According to data published by the Ministry of Social Integration, Social Security and Migration, theBasque Country is the autonomous community with the highest retirement pension, followed by Asturias (€1,779.04), Madrid (€1,733.78) and Navarra (€1,694.12).
By territory, it is €1,873.61 in Bizkaia (there are €199,553 pensions), €1,857.58 in Álava (€58,268 pensions) and €1,788.35 in Gipuzkoa (€139,965 pensions).
