The Ataca Association of Alavese Farmers and Farmers is taking tractors to the A-1 today
Yesterday, the Ertzaintza prevented farmers and farmers from leaving for the A-1 on the grounds that they were not allowed to do so. After receiving permission from the Basque Government, the tractors will be able to go on the motorway.
Convened by Ataca Treviño and the Araba Rural Association, farmers and farmers in Álava will come out with tractors to try to blockthe trade agreement betweenthe European Union and Mercosur.
In particular, they will take the A-1 motorway off Roman Millán (near Araia) from 10:00 to 18:00.
