BBVA has earned $10,511 million in 2025, 4.5% more

BBVA recorded a net profit of €10.511 billion in 2025, a new record, an increase of 4.5% over the previous year, as can be seen from the bank's accounts published this Thursday.
If the effect of foreign currency inflation is not taken into account and a stable exchange rate is used, the profit growth was 19.2%.
"We have achieved a record profit and, once again, we stand out for our ability to combine growth and profitability , an excellent job that has led to excellent value creation that allows us to accelerate our shareholders' pay, "said BBVA President Carlos Torres.
The entity's total income (gross margin) was €36,931 million between January and December, an increase of 4.1 per cent. Of this amount, net interest income (interest margin) increased by 4%, to €26,280 million.
