The management of the largest factory in the Basque Country, with about 5,000 workers, informed the unions and all the workers of this decision on Thursday.
In its communication, it states that they are in a "particularly bad" situation in the Strait of Gibraltar due to the storm, which has led to the "collapse of the logistical supply chain".
In the face of this lack of supplies, Mercedes Benz, "as an exceptional measure " N has decided to suspend activity in the morning shift.
