Repsol has earned 8.1% more in 2025, to €1,899 million, and has raised its 2026 dividend
The company reported on Thursday to the National Securities and Exchange Commission (CNMV) that the adjusted net net result, which specifically measures business progress, fell 15.1% in 2025 from the previous year to 2,568 million.
Repsolrecorded net earnings of €1899 million in 2025, 8.1% higherthan the previous year, in a context marked by geopolitical and economic uncertainty, volatility in energy markets and the impact of the April 28 blackout on the Iberian Peninsula.
The National Securities and Exchange Commission (CNMV) reported on Thursday that the adjusted net net result, which specifically measures business performance, fell 15.1%in 2025 from the previous year, to 2,568 million.
It also reports that the Board of Directors will propose to the next general meeting of shareholders the payment of a dividend of EUR 0.551 gross per share from the results of 2025, which is expected to take place on 8 July 2026, so that the final remuneration to be received this year will be EUR 1,051 gross per share.
Repsol last year paid a dividend of 0.975 gross euros per share, 8.3% more than in 2024. The total amount distributed to shareholders was about 1.8 billion euros, the highest level of the company's commitment for the period 2024-2027.
In addition, it will propose to the Assembly a reduction in equity capital by amortizing it in equity. A repurchase programme will be launched with a maximum net investment of EUR 350 million.
Results by business
The company has made changes to the accounts it offers to the market since the fourth quarter of 2025 so that some metrics can express it in order to better reflect the management and evaluation of the business, which does not affect the group's consolidated situations.
Repsol has stated in a statement that the results obtained have occurred in a complex context , marked by high volatilityin energy markets, which has brought theprice of Brent barrel down to anaverage of $69.1 by 2025, 14.5% lessthan the previous year.
Last year, the company produced 548 000 barrels of oil equivalent, in line with the strategic plan.
by 2026, the company plans to produce between 560 000 and 570 000 barrels a day, not to mention the possibility of increasing production in Venezuela.
In fact, Repsol recalled that the US administration granted new licenses to resume oil and gas extraction operations in Venezuela.
