ELA, which will appeal against the ERE of Reunited Tubes, has called for the maintenance of the steel and logistics area to be maintained
The abertzale power plant has questioned the 2025 results published by the company last Friday because, "despite recording a significantly higher turnover than 2024, the reported losses are higher than those initially reported." ELA has stated that "the management may have used accounting engineering in an interested manner" and questioned its credibility.
The ELA union announced on Monday that itwill file an appeal againstthe ERE of Tubos Reunidos and that, in addition to withdrawing it, it has requested the maintenance of the maintenance of the steel and logistics area of Amurrio.

The centre has explained that the Labour Inspectorate detected 44 cases of fraudulent recruitment of casual workers, three of whom have decided not to remain in the company and 41 others have joined the workforce.
ELA welcomes this "progress" but warns that there are still forced redundancies among the rest of the temporary staff and is considering whether there could be more fraudulent contracts.

Torres has explained to the media that "it is now up to the Department of Labour of the Basque Government to review and analyse in depth this ERE to see if it meets the established requirements".
He has stressed that the Basque Government 'will do its job rigorously' to find a way out of this company, but has again called for responsibility.
