The cleaners of the municipal services of the Bilbao City Council have started their ninth week of strike to demand better working conditions.
Bilbao City Council municipal service cleaners blocked access to Bilbao from the San Mamés tunnels early this Monday to protest their working conditions.
Workers have started the ninth weekof strikes, in contrast to other municipal groups, to report that their pay gap is very high.
After closing Bilbao's access through the San Mamés tunnels, workers will march to Moyua Square.
