The Spanish Government will invest 107 million in the Donostiarra company Multiverse Computing
In 2025, the Spanish Society for Technological Transformation gave its support to the company with an investment of 59.2 million euros, with the aim of promoting its technological solutions linked to AA.
The Council of Ministers has authorized the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the Public Service, through the Spanish Society for Technological Transformation (SETT), to develop artificial intelligence and quantum computing softwareto participate inthe Multiverse Computing company in San Sebastián, with a public investment of 107 million euros.
Created in Donostia-San Sebastián in 2019, Multiverse Computing develops AA solutions "energy-efficient and based on quantum computing technologies that improve AI productivity and sustainabilityin key sectors such as finance, energy, logistics, space, health and defense, "the government said.
In June 2025, SETT supported the company with an investment of 59.2 million euros, with the aim of promoting innovative technological solutions that compress the large language models used by the most popular chatbots.
