As of today, the European Union will apply a rate of EUR 3 to small packages of less than EUR 150purchased outside the European market. The measure will mainly affect low-cost imports from China (Temu, Shein or AliExpress).
To date, small packages of less than EUR 150 were exempt from tariffs, a new levy with which the EU intends to curb the entry of around 15 million low-value packages into European customs every day.
