Sarriguren's expansion plan provides for 6,000 housing units, 70 to 80 per cent of which are protected

The progress of the supramunicipal sectoral plan  inthe expansion of Sarriguren will make it possible to build 6,000 housing unitsin that municipality, 70 to 80 per cent of which will be protected.

In particular, some of the homes will be for the Egüés Valley Council , as explained by the President of the Government of Navarre, María Chivite, during her presentation to the media.

The plan is being developed in line with the Foral Government's line of work to unblock and streamline urban plans, with the aim of "building affordable housing, taking into account the needs and demands of society," Chivite said.

Thus, the initial approval of the Sectoral Plan is expected to take place before the end of the parliamentary term, and the construction of housing will begin in two or three years.

As I said, Chivite was in Sarriguren today, accompanied by the Territorial Cohesion Adviser, Oscar Chivite, the Director-General for Regional Planning, José Antonio Marcen, and the Director of the Territorial and Landscape Service, Rafa Araujo.
